Biking around the southern part of Copenhagen harbour is filled with architectural experiences. Following ‘Havenringen’ with almost no junctions during the tour, you can relax and hear the stories from the guide, who will stop at various sights. First sight of the biketour is the SEB Headquarters - two commercial buildings by Lundgaard and Tranberg connected by an impressive landscape of ‘gletchers and nordic forests’ - SLA landscape Architects. We see BLOX - a new building complex for architecture, design and innovation within the building industry by Rem Koolhaas. At the harbour front we also see Kalvebod Wave by Julien de smedt and the harbour bath by BIG and Plot architects. We cross ‘cykelbroen’ to Gemini residence at Islands Brygge and continue to Havnevigen, where we see Nokken daycare institution and a residential area for exclusive row houses with a public beach just in front of the rowhouses. We continue to Sluseholmen and pass Nokken with lots of very popular allotmen gardens. 

Sluseholmen - the ‘Venice of Copenhagen’ is built on eight artificial islets, where canals and bridges connects the islets. The edifice Metropolis - a futuristic building looking like a Starwars movie is located on a peninsula and rises 11 storages.
At sluseholmen we take a little break to buy and enjoy refreshments.
We continue to Tegelholmen with nice officebuidlings and the maritime school Sydhavnsskolen by JJW architects. On the way back we pass the neighbourhood of Fisketorvet and Havneholmen with its attractive apartments designed by Lundgaard and Tranberg.
