Tour description:
Explore Copenhagen’s dynamic urban transformation on this guided architectural tour. Starting in Posthusbyen, a new mixed-use district blending heritage and modern design, we’ll walk along the Green Highline, an elevated park repurposing former railway tracks into a lush urban oasis. The tour culminates at the striking Cactus Towers, an eye-catching residential landmark designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), showcasing Copenhagen’s innovative approach to sustainable living. Along the way, you’ll gain insights into the city’s architectural evolution, green building strategies, and bold design concepts. Ideal for architecture enthusiasts and urban explorers, this tour offers a unique perspective on Copenhagen’s ever-changing skyline.
I especially love the gletcher landscape surrounding the SEB Bank by the architects Lundgaard and Tranberg and also the new headquarter of Danske Bank is worth a look - again designed by some of my favorite architects - Lundgaard and Tranberg
See you there!
Best regards
Mira
